Cielo ProseccoPull up a cloud, this is a little heaven on earth… literally. Cielo, translates into Heaven, and that is quite fitting for this Prosecco. This is our go-to this season. Drink it on its own or in a cocktail – we recommend an Aperol Spritz.
Alain Corcia JulienasThis wine is the song that comes on and no matter what, you can’t help but to start dancing to. If you want to know, that song for me is Can’t Stop This Feeling By Justin Timberlake. This cru Beaujolais, made from the Gamay grapes, is irresistible and made by my friend, Alain Corcia. - Blake Leonard, Certified Sommelier Juliénas wines are earthy and weighty with a deep ruby red color with aromas of strawberry, violet, cinnamon, red currant and peony. The appellation sits in the far northwest of Beaujolais and due to the diverse terrain, Julienas wines are quite complex. Cru Beaujolais are some of the best valued wines in the world. This wine is well-made, balanced, food-friendly and just DELICIOUS! BLAKE'S PICK
Château La Dauphine Delphis FronsacFronsac is located right next to St. Emilion (where they make mega-pricey, sought-after wines.) My dad and I visited this winery this past summer. The vineyards are bio-dynamically farmed and all of their grapes are hand-picked. If someone at your dinner table likes Bordeaux, they’ll love this!
7 Castillos Crianza NVAt first sight, it has a medium-high robe with purple rims. On the nose, we can notice well-structured wood notes, which are provided by the young barrels. Also red fruits, spices and mineral aromas. On the palate, it is unctuous, glyceric and velvety. It is a tasty wine with a well-combined mature tannin. Very balanced wine with a very clean finish, where we notice roast, spicy and tobacco nuances. It has a long aftertaste. Food Pairings: Meat, game and cured cheeses. Optimum Serving Temperature: 16-18ºC.
Montespina VerdejoMontespino Verdejo is like adding lime to a flavorful meal or turning up the volume when the music is already blasting. On a scale of 1 to 10, this wine is a 12! Why I love it? It’s similar to a Sauvignon Blanc or stainless steel Chardonnay, with clean, crisp and refreshing notes. It’s full of citrusy fruit flavors (like lime) and has a high acidity, which makes it ideal with seafood. - Blake Leonard, Certified Sommelier

Maker's Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon WhiskyWe believe Maker's Mark is the only bourbon distillery to use pure, iron-free limestone spring water exclusively, not city, well or river water. Our source is a 10-acre limestone spring-fed lake at the distillery. We are very choosy about selecting the grains that go into our whisky. First, we use yellow corn and red winter wheat from specially selected small farm cooperatives, all of which are located within the limestone geology near the distillery. This wheat gives our whisky its soft, mellow taste. And we only use naturally malted barley (that has no enzyme enhancing gibberellic acid). When our grain is delivered, we check it from top to bottom. If it does not meet our rigid standards the shipment is not accepted. And this really does happen from time to time. We are among the few remaining bourbon distillers that propagates its own yeast for fermentation with cultures that we can trace back to the pre-prohibition era. We also use the traditional sour mash method, similar to making sourdough bread, where we always leave over some culture from one batch to start another. Our rare cypress fermentation tanks are historically irreplaceable. Some of the planks are more than 100 years old. Cypress was chosen for fermentation before modern stainless steel was available because it didn't contribute iron or taste to the final product. While we don't believe that cypress affects the process in any way, we continue to use some of these fermenters to give our visitors a sense of how the process used to look. Maker's Mark is currently the only operating bourbon distillery to make whisky in batches of less than 19 barrels -- the traditional standard for small-batch whisky.
